Casa este situata pe un teren usor inclinat, langa partia de schi din Predeal. Volumul urmareste configuratia terenului, asezandu-se intr-un crescendo paralel cu panta si este definit de o estetica montana prin folosirea materialelor naturale specifice zonei (lemn, piatra). De asemenea, se incearca o referinta la universul vacantelor montane, prin procesarea formei de sanie sau unei patine, scalate insa la dimensiunile uriase ale unei case.
Dincolo de functiunile tipice ale unei case de vacanta (salon cu loc de masa, bucatarie minimala, dormitoare, garaj si servicii sanitare), casa are o terasa cu pergola orientata spre sud si un turn-belvedere pozitionat la terminatia sa vestica, din care se poate admira panoramic privelistea zonei.

The house in located on a slightly sloping terrain, next to the ski area in Predeal. The volume is related to the terrain configuration, having a crescendo parallel to the slope and defines a mountain architectural esthetics, using natural materials (timber, stone). As well, a quote from the mountain holidays universe, trying to refer to the form of a sleigh, though scaled to the huge dimensions of a house.
Beside the typical functions of a holiday house (big dining, minimal kitchen, bedrooms, garage and bathrooms) the house holds a terrace with pergola, oriented towards south and an unusual tower onto its western side, from where one can have gorgeous panoramic views over the surroundings.
