A house for 3 young people

design architect, concept design, 2005 (with Alexandru Calin)

This is a study for a low-cost timber house, in which 3 young people might have lived for almost 10 years.

It started with a criteria matrix (spaces requested, number of rooms, intimacy degree, maximum budget, esthetics, chromatics, favorite materials, special needs, etc.) which was filled in by each of the 3 users. The design answers to these criteria and succeeds into the intersection of some of them. It results a house half individual, half common, with linked as well as separated spaces. All these processes are expressed in the architecture of the house.
